Amanda will bring us uo to date on happenings at The Friends of Texas Wildlife.  They recieve injured wildlife and rehabillitate them at their facility jus west of the Woodlands.  Our Rotary club built a Rapror House where recovering hawks, etc could practice flying.

Learn about her organizations’ HawGulf Coast Bird Observatory is an independent non-profit organization with 501(c) status. We have become recognized as an innovative organization, which has designed and conducted a significant number of large conservation projects, including migration studies, habitat enhancement, land acquisition, regional habitat mapping, and others.

The first 30 minute segment will focus on soil ecology, how we have impacted it and the impact. There is a free version for schools with lesson plans
