Emily Bruce from Moody Gardens in Galveston shared information on this year's Ice Land with the Club on October 6th.
Moody Gardens Ice Land
From November 21 to January 2 the grounds of Moody Gardens in Galveston is being turned into an Ice Land. Emily Bruce from Moody Gardens explained to our Club on October 6th that the annual event will be going strong again this year. In addition to the trail of lights around the gardens there will be an ice skating rink, an ice slide and shows put on by Lightwire Theater named A Very Electric Christmas. But the star of the event is Ice Land. Thirty ice carvers from China will transform 2 million pounds of ice into a Caribbean Christmas inside a 28,000 square foot tent on the grounds.
