3rd Annual Nature and Outdoor EXPO is an outstanding success!
Our third annual Nature and Outdoor EXPO was an outstanding success with over 500 in attendance. There were approximately 70 exhibitors/activities focusing on local resource issues related to air, soil and water, live wildlife and outdoor sports including archery & fishing along with over 20 vendors mostly with products or services related to nature and outdoors. We were especially pleased with the positive response to the new Environmental Passport Program for youth which was designed to introduce them to nature and resource issues in a fun way. With the growth in the area, we expect to see continual growth in the event attendance each year.
Finally, we want to thank our volunteers, including students from the Magnolia West HS Interact Club and Magnolia HS Environmental Science Class who made the logistics run smoothly and supported the education booths.
