Ron Chichester

Ron Chichester presented a primer on cryptocurrency.  He explained the value of cryptocurrency to reduce transaction cost by eliminating the traditional banking system, eliminating the need for established trust between buyers and sellers among others.  He also discussed the cons including loss of blockchain value results in loss of the currency.  The conclusion is that it is here to stay and will continue to play an important role in world-wide commerce.
