Montgomery County Courthouse
On September 29 Judge Claudia Laird presented information on the history of the Montgomery County Courthouse and how the court facilities have evolved over the years. As the population of Montgomery County has exploded our court facilities have fallen behind. Now extreme measures are being taken to create space for additional courtrooms. This includes multiple judges sharing spaces and repurposing buildings to support new courtrooms. The County Commissioners are reviewing proposals to create new court facilities in downtown Conroe to meet this steadily increasing need.
